CSIR UGC NET Application Form 2016
Council of Scientific and Industrial Research i.e. CSIR conducts CSIR UGC NET as National Level Eligibility Test twice in a year. Therefore, this test is conducted to determine the eligibility of the candidates for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Eligibility for Lectureship in the certain subject in the field of Science and Technology.
test is conducted twice in a year in the month of June and December. Furthermore, the test will be conducted at 26 selected exam centers situated in different parts of India. So, the candidates can apply for CSIR UGC NET 2016 via online mode only. Application forms for CSIR UGC NET 2016 will be released in the month of October – November 2016.

Eligibility Criteria
Below is the terms and conditions of the CSIR UGC NET Application Form 2016-17:
- Candidates, who have completed, 4 years B.Tech/ B.E/ B.Pharma/ MBBS/ M.Sc/B. Pharma/Integrated BS-MS/MBBS/B.Sc (Hons) with at least 555% marks(50% for reserved category candidates).
- Candidates appearing in the final year are also eligible to apply under the Result Awaited (RA) category. But to avail the fellowship, such candidates will have to complete the qualifying degree with the requisite percentage of marks within the given validity period of two years.
- Candidates with Bachelor Degree will be eligible for Fellowship only after they got themselves enrolled for Ph.D./Integrated Ph.D. program within the given validity of two years.
- In addition, Upper age limit for JRF Program is 28 years. 5 years age relaxation will be provided to SC / ST / PWD / VHD Candidates and Female Candidates.
- There is no age limit for LS i.e. Lectureship program.

Application Fee
Candidates can pay application fee from any branch of Indian Bank. Candidates can also pay the application fee by RTGS/NEFT. Check the detail of application fee for different categories from below:

- Other Backward Classes(OBC)- Non-Creamy Layer : Rs. 500/-
- SC/ST/Physically Handicapped (PH) or Visually Handicapped (VH ) : Rs. 250/-
How to Apply For CSIR UGC NET Application Form 2016
Candidates can apply for CSIR UGC NET 2016 via online mode only. Therefore, the candidates can fill the application form from the official website i.e. www.csirhrdg.res.in.
After that, filling the application form online, candidates will need to send the hard copy of application form along with hard copy of relevant documents by ordinary post to the following address:

Exam Pattern
Three papers will be conducted on the same day of examination. Negative marking for wrong answers will be applicable for different subjects as per the subject wise scheme of the exam. In case, any question found to be wrong at a later stage then the benefit of marks will be given to only those candidates who attempt the question.
Exam pattern for Paper I :
This paper will be common for all subjects and will include questions from logical reasoning, General Aptitude, numerical ability, graphical analysis etc.
Exam pattern for Paper II :
In this paper, you have to solve subject-related conventional Multiple Choice questions (MCQs). Generally, topics given in the syllabus are covered in this paper.
Exam pattern for Paper III :
This paper is a little bit tough as this will include higher value questions. Therefore, this paper is set to analyze the candidate’s knowledge of scientific concepts and/or application of the scientific concepts.
Result and Merit List for CSIR UGC NET 2016
In conclusion, after the declaration of result, merit list will be issued based on the minimum qualifying marks. Thus, the board will issue the merit list Subject-wise and Category-wise. Furthermore, the board will prepare a separate merit list for the award of JRF i.e. Junior Research Fellowship.
